Great Toy... for older kidsDec 27, 2010

This toy is a great toy for kids who have some strength in their fingers and hands. It's a little hard to squeeze and give the right pressure to make it pop, but that is the ONLY thing I don't like about it (my girls are 4 & 5). It's cute, it's not a gun type shooter, and it's just overall fun. My kids will eventually figure out how to pop the pig correctly... after watching mommy and daddy playing with them - hohoho! ;-)

Fun shooting toy that is not a gunSep 14, 2011
By Rosalind My son received this for his 4th birthday. Positives: He loves shooting the balls at us, the balls don't hurt, and I'm happy it's not a gun. From an educational standpoint, it forces his hand into a pincer grasp and is great for building finger muscles. Negatives: The balls are actually smaller than ping pong balls and they'll roll under all our furniture. The piggy has a chemical odor when you first bring it out from the package, but it's not any worse than most furniture or inflatable swim products. A few days airing it out works.

Fun for "kids" of all agesApr 22, 2011

This toy has something fun to offer for all ages. Squeezing the pigs stomach makes the ball go flying through the air. Our toddler loves to hear the "pop" sound it makes. Small children may have trouble squeezing the plastic however my grandchild found another way to make it pop : step on it! The balls are small and should be kept away from children who would put them in their mouths. Older children enjoy "shooting" the balls at each other and at targets. Its just a fun toy!

fun in therapySep 12, 2011
By L. Vert I purchased the pig popper for my office (psychotherapy) and I've gotten rave reviews and tons of laughs with it (kids and adults alike). The fact that it makes a most excellent popping noise when a ball is shot from the mouth was an added bonus I hadn't anticipated when I purchased it. Great for stress relief and general silliness!

Pig Popper pops!Jan 14, 2011
By StevieP Press the ball into the pig's snout and squeeze the pig's belly to send the ball flying with a pleasing sound. For greater distance, press the ball farther into the snout and squeeze firmly and quickly. It's a simple, amusing, fun toy.
