I have done many many paint by numbers. I think the number is approaching 20, every one i have painted was made by dimensions/paint works. I love their products, easy to follow and read, good quality paints and even an instruction sheet. I like how they have you mix colors but label it with a letter it makes life easier. This particular picture turned out beautifully. I really wish i could visit this scene. instead its hanging in the living room for all to see. I really recommend it the colors are soo beautiful and bright.

I loved to paint-by-number when I was in my early teens. These are NOTHING like the old kits. The paintings look like paintings, not paint-by-number renditions. I just retired and needed a hobby. Although, confusing at first, I got the hang of it and finished. It turned out beautifully. I didn't know how to use the paints and ended up having to order more black, but I learned. I just finished my second one and am moving on to my third - and will order more. I thoroughly enjoy this new challenge, and it is a challenge - but worth it!! My only criticism is that the brush included in the kit is poor quality. On my second painting, I bought my own brushes from a hobby store.

Love, love, love it! Good quality paints and excellent instructions. As always, with any paint by number set, you need additional brushes.

I wanted to love Paint by Numbers so badly! I wanted to express my creative side which is why I bought this. But unfortunately, it's a lot more difficult than I thought. The areas to paint for specific colors are very small and intricate. I found myself becoming more and more agitated trying to find the tiny places to paint.
This could definitely be for someone that has the time and patience to paint through it. It just wasn't for me.

I won't know the contents of the paint kit of course till recipient gets it for Christmas and starts to use it. Just hope the paints aren't all dried up. Box was in bad shape which makes it embarrassing to give as a gift.
