5Turned Out Great!Apr 26, 2011
By Jane
The paint by number companies must have vastly improved their products, because I don't remember paint by numbers EVER turning out looking this good. I bought a little package of eight different paint brushes (they only give you one in the box), including a teensy tiny brush that you will absolutely need for all the miniscule parts on this painting. Sometimes it seems like "this is never going to come out looking like the box". But if you are patient, WOW. It looks exactly like the picture! I didn't do quite as well on the background blending as the picture on the box.....and it would be nice if they had a bit more detail on certain techniques included in the instructions....but I was so thrilled with the finished painting that I just went out and bought a lovely frame for it. I had a great time doing this painting. It was a very relaxing and peaceful way to pass time. Actually finishing something I started (and having it come out looking halfway decent) was a great reward. I've already got another one to do. Lots of fun!

4Item was a giftDec 27, 2010
By Beatrice "Book Eater"
I purchased this item as a Christmas gift. While I am unsure my mother in law really liked it, I thought it was a nice set. The paint brush that is provided in the set is small but it seemed like it was of good quality. To complete my gift I purchased a small set of brushes from my local big box store (something that every paint by number artist should have anyway).

5Nice transition KitJan 11, 2011
By M. C. Bowman
This is a nice kit to transition from the basic.
My mother is 85 with a little shake in her hands
and this did not present any frustration. It turned
out very nice colors as pictured.
I am a Prime member so shipping was fast.
I did 90% of my shopping this Christmas on Amazon
It kept me happy and my family as well.
Not to advertize, but I have been a prime member for
the last 5 years and it has saved me a bunch of money.
